Redback strapping is All weather, so there is no need to stock a winter or summer grade product. It will not gum up in the heat or crack in the cold and it has been tested to withstand the harsh UV rays of the sun for more than 1 year
So, let’s take Redback outside.
We’re in eastern Washington today where its below freezing. Its actually 23 degrees below Fahrenheit. Let me show you how redback woven and composite strapping remains flexible and won’t crack in the cold.
Here I am using Redbacks woven strapping with no problem. Its easy to thread through the buckle and tool, but my hands are freezing cold, so I recommend wearing gloves. But, when wearing gloves, it’s a bit more of a challenge, but still not too bad.
The composite is also easy to thread through the buckles and tool. Its pliable and easy to handle, but more rigid than the woven , so I feel like its easier to work with when wearing gloves in the cold, and unlike other products on the market, you can see that redback composite strapping isn’t cracking or delaminating in the cold. But how does it handle in high temperatures?
We’re here in Death Valley California to show you how Redback Woven and Composite stands up against the extreme heat. Its currenyly120 degrees rn..
Redback woven and composite strapping are both easy to thread through the fastener and pretension. Both products are pliable, easy to work with and won’t gum up in the high heat.
But, its way too hot to be working outside right now. In fact, the tool is almost too hot to touch. So I would say the limiting factor is the human, not the strap, and in this extreme environment, Redback woven and composite perform equally well.
If you need an all weather, high performance strapping solution that will work equally well whether it is a cold winter morning or a hot summer afternoon, give Redback a call or check us out on the web at Redback.com.
